Norwegian side Tromsdalen kicked off their league campaign in remarkable conditions on Sunday as they played a match encircled by a towering wall of snow which reached six metres high.
Extreme snowfall in the build up to the season opener led to Tromsdalen groundsmen being kept extra busy before their match against Asane.
Photos posted on Twitter show the snow engulfing the surrounding area as ice caves had to be carved to allow players to take corners properly.
