AMSTERDAM (AP) Lucas Piazon scored two first-half penalties to lead Vitesse Arnhem to a 3-0 victory over Go Ahead Eagles and keep the Arnhem team on top of the Dutch Eredivisie after round 14.
Referee Danny Makkelie briefly halted the match in the first half Sunday after a fan ran onto the pitch, apparently to protest the second penalty in five minutes for Vitesse, and other fans let off fireworks in the stadium.
Go Ahead was reduced to 10 men when Deniz Turuc was sent off for a foul on Mike Havenaar that also produced the first spot kick.
Vitesse extended its lead after the break through a Gael Kakuta goal in the 65th minute.
Defending champion Ajax beat Heracles Almelo 3-0 Saturday to move into second spot.
