A picture of a little boy wearing a blue-and-white-striped grocery bag with the number of one of the world's most popular football player's has social media buzzing.
A picture surfaced online of a young boy, facing away from the camera, wearing the plastic bag with Argentine striker Lionel Messi's name and number written on the makeshift supporter shirt in what appears to be permanent marker.
The picture was posted on Twitter by a Turkish sports website's account last week, claiming the boy was from Iraq, but this has not been confirmed.
The photo was tweeted again a day later by popular Messi fan account @messi10stats with the caption "A kid in Iraq" and a broken heart emoji.
