LISBON, Portugal (AP) Colombian striker Fredy Montero scored twice as Sporting Lisbon routed visiting Setubal 4-0 to remain undefeated and provisionally move atop the Portuguese league on Saturday.
Sporting moved one point ahead of FC Porto before the three-time defending champion plays at Arouca on Sunday.
Montero opened the scoring five minutes before halftime.
He added a second goal in the 71st from a pass by Ivan Piris after Andre Carrillo doubled the lead in the 58th by combining with Adrien Silva.
Silva capped the win with a penalty kick in the 75th after Setubal's Javier Cohene handled the ball in the area.
