KEY POINTS:
Stu Jacobs and Colin Tuaa have been reappointed as coaches of Junior (U20) and Young (U17) All Whites respectively.
New Zealand Football yesterday ratified the coaching appointments through to the end of their respective World Cups in 2009 with Egypt (U20) and Nigeria (U17) earmarked to host the respective tournaments.
NZ Football is to advertise the assistant coaching roles for both teams shortly.
Jacobs and Tuaa's assistants this year - Sean Douglas and Clive Campbell respectively - have been encouraged to reapply.
Jacobs, who coaches NZFC leaders team Wellington and assists Ricki Herbert at Wellington Phoenix, led the Junior All Whites to July's Youth World Cup in Canada.
The Junior All Whites produced the closest results of New Zealand's three World Cup finalists in 2007 (Football Ferns, U20 and U17) with 2-0, 1-0 and 2-1 losses to Portugal, Gambia and Mexico respectively.
