The final of the women's Knockout Cup soccer competition has been put back a fortnight to September 19 to allow the clubs to field their strongest teams.
Finalists, Three Kings United of Auckland and Hamilton's Claudelands Rovers, have contributed eight players to the New Zealand squad for the under-17 World Cup which starts in Trinidad and Tobago on September 5.
The Young Football Ferns, coached by Claudelands coach Dave Edmondson, leave New Zealand on August 27, and play South Korea and Ireland en route to the Caribbean.
