Soccer: van Hattum appointed to board 

Former All Whites goalkeeper Frank van Hattum has joined the board of New Zealand Soccer.

Van Hattum, goalkeeper when New Zealand made their only trip to the World Cup finals, in Spain in 1982, won the North Island spot vacated by his former team-mate Sam Malcolmson.
