KEY POINTS:
Football Federation Australia has confirmed the addition of Gold Coast United and Townsville FC to the A-League for next season.
The competition is being expanded to 10 teams in its fifth season.
CEO Ben Buckley has also reiterated the view that ultimately they would like to continue expanding to at least 12 and possibly 14 teams in the near future.
