Sydney FC finally confirmed the sacking of coach Terry Butcher yesterday, ending days of speculation.
The Hyundai A-League club said it would fill the void with an "interim coaching structure" for the six AFC Asian Champions League matches starting in Shanghai on March 7.
Former NSL coach Branko Culina, who is the current Soccer NSW technical director, is expected to fill that role.
