Napier City Rovers' million-dollar dream lives on at the Oceania club soccer championship in Papua New Guinea.
Their 4-0 win over Fijian representative Foodtown Warriors yesterday assured the side of their place in the weekend's semifinals.
With Wollongong Wolves expected to continue on their winning way in their clash with host club Unitech FC, the transtasman rivals will go into tomorrow's clash in the last round of pool play already through to the last four.
Napier will have to upset Wollongong if they are to avoid Tahitian side AS Venus in the semifinals. AS Venus have dominated group B with three-from-three, scoring 18 goals and conceding none.
The winner of Monday's final will qualify for the world club championship in Spain, with all teams assured of at least $US1 million.
