All Whites striker Marco Rojas is making his long-awaited comeback after a prolonged knee-injury this weekend.
The former Phoenix star will line up in the reserve team of his German club VFB Stuttgart on Saturday morning (NZ time) against MSV Duisburg in the third German division, according to the club website.
Rojas has had limited game time at the Bundesliga club before Christmas before more injury woes put him back on the sidelines.
Fellow All Whites youngster Ryan Thomas will also make his return Saturday morning for PEC Zwolle in the Dutch Eredivisie against FC Groningen.
Thomas missed last week's game at ADO Den Haag due to a minor injury and will be pleased to be back in the first team with the Dutch Cup final against Ajax Amsterdam only two weeks away.
