KEY POINTS:
SYDNEY - Two team mates who were involved in an ugly punch-up in the Australian A-League have been fined A$1000 ($1130).
Perth Glory captain Jamie Harnwell and midfielder Adrian Webster were also handed a suspended one-match ban after being found guilty of breaching the sport's code of conduct.
The two men had to be dragged apart when they began trading punches after their team's scoreless draw with Adelaide on Thursday, which almost certainly ended the club's chances of making the playoffs.
Perth chief executive Michelle Phillips told reporters the two players were embarrassed about the fight and had resolved the differences.
"They did apologise to each other. They have walked out of the room team mates," Phillips said. "It was a one-off, isolated incident - there was nothing leading up to that."
