Perth Glory have continued the A-League's love affair with Brazilians, signing defensive midfielder Amaral for the upcoming season.
The 35-year-old has represented Brazil 31 times, and his lengthy resume includes playing stints with Brazilian giants Palmeiras and Corinthians, Italian Serie A sides Parma and Fiorentina and Portuguese outfit Benfica.
Amaral, whose full name is Alexander Da Silva Mariano, impressed Perth coach David Mitchell during the club's recent tour of Indonesia and joins Argentinean Adrian Trinidad and Ivory Coast striker Eugene Dadi as other international off-season signings.
