New Zealand Football remains hopeful of attracting a sell-out crowd for this month's international football friendly between the All Whites and Jamaica.
Only around 6,000 tickets have been sold for the match at Mt Smart Stadium in a fortnight.
Chief executive Grant McKavanagh says Auckland is notorious for its walk-up crowds and it's difficult to motivate fans weeks out from an event.
McKavanagh says there's a lot going on in Auckland and it's a busy city but the good thing is the match is on a Wednesday night.
He says they want to send a message to CONCACAF by filling Mt Smart with a parochial crowd.
