Kevin Muscat has been named captain of Australia for tomorrow's Asian Cup soccer qualifier against Kuwait at Aussie Stadium in Sydney.
The Melbourne Victory veteran, who last played for Australia at the Confederations Cup in 2005, is the most experienced international player in the 18-member squad of A-League players.
His Melbourne clubmate Archie Thompson, one of only two players who was also part of Australia's World Cup squad, will be vice-captain.
