Mexico looks likely to have a new coach by the time they play the All Whites in the World Cup playoffs next month.
Victor Vucetich's head is on the chopping block, with a fourth coach in the space of six weeks now being lined up.
CNN Espanol reporter Raul Saenz says the favourite to take over is Miguel Herrera, who currently coaches leading club side America.
"He doesn't have obviously the international experience but he's currently coaching the best team in Mexican soccer and there's a lot of indication that not just him but also his main executive will take over the executive role for the Mexican federation.''
Two coaches were sacked after successive defeats last month and Vucetich was appointed on September 12th for the final push at saving Mexico's qualifying campaign
