Wellington Phoenix defender Jon McKain is on the verge of a big-money soccer move to the Middle East, according to several international media reports.
Australian international McKain, 27, who recently extended his contract with the Phoenix by two years, has been linked with a $1.5 million shift to Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr.
McKain, who has been capped 12 times by the Socceroos but was not named in their World Cup squad, has been a key performer for the Phoenix.
