The records keep falling in the Australian national league.
Marconi striker Royce Brownlie scored both goals in his team's 2-2 away draw with Olympic Sharks to break the eight-year-old record for the most consecutive goals scored by one player for one club.
Brownlie equalled Ivan Kelic's record of seven consecutive goals for Olympic Sharks in the 1993-94 season with his first strike and set a new mark with his second.
The two goals took Brownlie's tally for the season to 11. Amazingly, he missed the first half of the season.
Harry Ngata, yet again in a losing Kingz side in going down 2-0 at Newcastle, at least had the satisfaction of playing his 100th NSL game.
The popular Kingz player turned out 18 times for Brunswick in the 1994-95 season before joining the Kingz in their inaugural season.
Leaders Perth Glory needed less than a minute to go ahead of Adelaide City when Jamie Harnwell scored.
Nick Budin grabbed the 31st-minute equaliser for City, who are in Auckland this Friday night.
South Melbourne's unbeaten streak ended at 10 when beaten 1-0 away by Brisbane Strikers.
Substitute Joshua Rose scored within a minute of being pitched into the fray.
Melbourne Knights scored two late goals to beat Wollongong Wolves 4-2 for their 11th win of the season and strengthen the side's top-six chances.
