KEY POINTS:
SYDNEY - David Carney is going. Mark Milligan is staying. And Brazilian World Cup winner Juninho Paulista is set to arrive as Sydney Football Club's marquee player.
While chief executive George Perry would only confirm the club had spoken to Juninho on Wednesday, the former Middlesbrough star is expected to be unveiled as the Blues marquee player on Friday.
The 34-year-old's arrival would finally bring to an end a near year-long search for a replacement to former Manchester United striker Dwight Yorke, with Sydney having been turned down by Robbie Fowler, Phillip Cocu and John Aloisi in recent months.
