Soccer: Jets sign former Socceroo

The Newcastle Jets have announced the signing of former Socceroos midfielder Kasey Wehrman to a two-year A-League contract.

The 32-year-old Wehrman will return to Australia after nearly a decade of playing in Norway with Moss, Lillestrom, Fredrikstad and Lyn.

Wehrman's signing continues a busy offseason recruiting drive by the Jets, who have also signed former Sydney FC midfielder Ruben Zadkovich and New Zealand international Jeremy Brockie.
