Udinese defender Pablo Armero quickly went from hero to embarrassed villain in his Italian side's Champions League qualifying match today.
After putting his side ahead with the opening goal from a smart header, Armero burst clear through on goal with just the keeper to beat to seal the win. But instead of calmly slotting it he stubbed his toe, fell on his face and then tried to swipe the ball in with his hand.
Braga then equalised and the tie went to penalties and things got even worse for Udinese, as Brazilian Maicosuel attempted a Panenka for the home side which was easily saved by Braga keeper Beto.
Braga went on to win the match and ended Udinese's chances of making the Champions League group stage.
