Ex-Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler has joined Perth Glory for next season, choosing the west coast club over rival offers from within Australia's A-League after he was released from his contract with the North Queensland Fury.
The 35-year-old former England international signed with Perth on Tuesday, the AAP reports.
Fowler will be the club's foreign marquee player, meaning his wage is excluded from Glory's salary cap.
He left North Queensland after one season when the club became mired in financial trouble.
