KEY POINTS:
North Harbour Stadium has passed an International Football Federation (Fifa) inspection.
Fifa representatives this week visited the stadium which is the major venue for the inaugural world under-17 women's World Cup.
The stadium will be used for the opening ceremony, the third and fourth playoff and the final as well as pool games.
The World Cup, from October 28 to November 16 will feature 16 teams.
North Korea, Japan, South Korea, Brazil, Colombia, Paraguay and New Zealand have already qualified.
Fifa officials are inspecting venues in the other host cities of Hamilton, Wellington and Christchurch this week.
