Soccer: Durante goes to Sydney

Wellington Phoenix captain Andrew Durante will join rivals Sydney FC for their Asian Champions League campaign, but the defender will return to the New Zealand capital before the start of the next A-League soccer season.

Sydney FC approached Phoenix management yesterday and the deal was completed in just a few hours. Durante will fly to Sydney today to join up with his new teammates.
