Ken Dugdale is looking for more of the same when the Football Kingz play Northern Spirit at Ericsson Stadium tonight.
More, that is, of the kind of results the Kingz have enjoyed against the Sydneysiders this season.
"We have had the wood on them," said Dugdale. "We want that to continue."
The Kingz beat the Spirit in a pre-season friendly and thumped them 4-1 in the second game of the season, a result which took the Aucklanders to the top of the NSL table for the only time this season.
"These last three games are about credibility and finishing as high on the table as we can," he said.
"Apart from the away games against Parramatta and Perth, when we were disgraceful, I feel we have produced some quality football, but without getting the results."
Of last Sunday's incident in the game against Brisbane involving goalkeeper Michael Utting and Patricio Almendra, Dugdale said it was a non-issue.
"It was about two players arguing among themselves and therefore not concentrating on the game. I took them off. That's where it finished."
Both have been included in the team for tonight's catch-up game.
Kingz: Michael Utting, Con Anthopoulos, Mauro Donoso, Jonathan Perry, James Pritchett, Chris Jackson, Raf de Gregorio, Steven Turner, Andy Vlahos, Patricio Almendra, Harry Ngata. Substitutes: James Bannatyne, Jeff Campbell, Mark Beldham, Riki Van Steeden.
