KEY POINTS:
The Chatham Cup soccer semifinals draw today has handed home ground advantage to South Island sides Dunedin Tech and East Coast Bays.
Dunedin Tech, the only previous winners left in this year's competition, will host Glenfield Rovers at the Caledonian ground on August 17 and East Coast Bays meet Nelson Suburbs on Bay City Park on August 16 or 17.
The final has been scheduled for Albany's North Harbour Stadium but NZ Football competitions manager Glyn Taylor indicated the final could be moved if the competition was to have an all-South Island final for the first time.
"If there were two South Island finalists we would take a common-sense approach and take the final to the fans," Taylor said.
