Christchurch's Cashmere Technical completed the list of Chatham Cup quarter-finalists today with a 7-0 romp over Waimak United at Garrick Memorial Park.
The last remaining fourth round match had been delayed while first division Waimak United completed their weather-impacted third round tie against Nelson College.
Mainland Premier League side Cashmere were soon making up for lost time, opening the scoring in just the seventh minute through Dan Ede.
James Price earned a 35th minute penalty which Tom Schwarz converted to give the home side a 2-0 lead and Schwarz's second two minutes after the sides swapped ends opened the floodgates as Cashmere cruised to a quarter-final trip to face Palmerston North Marist on the weekend of July 27 and 28.
Andy Barton, Dan Terris and Stu Kelly all got in on the act before Ede wrapped up proceedings with his second goal seven minutes from time.
