Just as his famous father announces his retirement from football, Brooklyn Beckham looks on the verge of beginning his own career in the game.
The eldest son (14) of David and Victoria Beckham has been training with Queens Park Rangers but the club deny reports he has signed a contract with the recently relegated side.
"Contrary to reports, Brooklyn Beckham has been training at #QPR but has not joined our academy," the club tweeted.
The Daily Mail reported that Beckham had signed with the west London club's 14-year-old academy side.
Beckham senior retired this week after having played more than 420 competitive games in the top leagues across England, Italy, Spain, USA and France.
