Jeremy Brockie has been released by A-league football club Sydney FC.
The 19 year-old still had 12 months to run on his two-year contract, which he signed after leaving the New Zealand Knights in March last year.
Brockie struggled for game time with Sydney, managing just two starts all season and figuring in just seven of a possible 23 matches.
Originally from Nelson, Brockie now becomes available for the A-League's new New Zealand franchise.
