New Zealand completed their second easy win at the Oceania Nations Cup soccer tournament in Auckland today.
The Football Ferns won their group A match 10-0 over Cook Islands with Amber Hearn and Sarah Gregorius both helping themselves to hat-tricks.
It continued a rich vein of form for attacking midfielder Hearn, who netted five times in her team's opening 14-0 trouncing of Vanuatu on Wednesday.
The New Zealanders were again a class apart today, leading 6-0 at halftime as the defending titleholders showed their determination to win the 2011 World Cup qualifying event.
New Zealand's last group match is against Tahiti on Sunday.
Earlier, a hat-trick from Heimiri Alvarez fired Tahiti to a 5-1 win over Vanuatu in the other group A match today.
She scored twice in the first half as Tahiti led 2-1 before three late goals inflated the scoreline.
