MILAN (AP) AC Milan striker Robinho has extended his contract with the Serie A club until the end of the 2015-2016 season.
Robinho had been heavily linked with a return to his boyhood club Santos, but the Brazilian club was unable to finance the deal.
The 29-year-old's contract was set to expire next summer and Milan confirms Robinho has signed a two-year extension until June 30, 2016.
Robinho, who also played for Real Madrid and Manchester City, joined Milan in 2010.
