SYDNEY (AP) Brazilian Henrique scored a pair of goals Sunday as the Brisbane Roar moved back into first place in Australia's A-League with a 3-0 win over the Melbourne Heart.
Captain Matt Smith's 77th-minute volley completed the Brisbane scoring and gave the Roar their third win in four games.
Earlier in the fourth round, two goals from Western Sydney striker Tomi Juric sealed a 2-1 win over Adelaide United. Marcelo Carrusca scored for United in the 54th minute before Juric equalized six minutes later and scored the winner against his former club in the 80th.
The Wanderers finished in first place last year in their inaugural season and lost the grand final to the Central Coast Mariners. They trail Brisbane by a point after four rounds.
In other matches, the Mariners and Newcastle played to a 2-2 draw, as the Jets earned their first goals of the season. One of the Newcastle goals came when Central Coast goalkeeper Justin Pasfield put the ball into his own net with a miss off a back pass.
