Coleen Rooney has finally broken her silence on her rumoured split from husband Wayne Rooney.
The 31-year-old star shared a refreshingly honest Facebook post on Friday morning, revealing that she is giving her nine-year marriage a second chance after the Everton star's "silly and selfish mistake".
The mother-of-three - who is currently expecting her fourth child with childhood sweetheart Wayne - also explained why she hasn't been wearing her wedding band, before stepping out in Manchester in a defiant display with her ring firmly on.
The couple have been plagued with reports their marriage is on the rocks following the footballer's wild night out in September - which saw him arrested for drink driving while behind the wheel of party girl Laura Simpson's car.
And just after posting her statement online, Coleen put in an appearance at the Julie Perry Events Ladies Fashion Lunch in Manchester - with her ring firmly on.
Dressed in a simple yet sophisticated ensemble, the defiant WAG ensured onlookers got a glimpse of her glittering band.
Coleen's message reads: "Before all the stories begin, Yes, I have put my wedding ring on....... A lot of people will be saying "you don't have to explain yourself, don't feel like you have to do this" etc, I know I don't, but I am and I want to.
"It didn't feel right wearing my ring, I see it as a sign of commitment and I was unsure what was happening. I don't always wear my ring day to day, especially when I go the gym. "
Insisting she is a "strong person" and doesn't need people to feel sorry for her, Coleen set the record straight once and for all about her marriage.
She continued: "A few people are probably thinking am stupid for staying in my marriage. I am not stupid, I know my own mind and it's something I want to try and work on.
"Before the headlines start.... No, I'm not taking Wayne back as he's never left.
"Yes, it has been a s**t time, and yes, time was spent apart and I thought my marriage might have been at an end.
"I'm not going to list Wayne's good qualities as a person as I don't think he deserves it at this time but one thing is that he is a brilliant dad.
"He's made silly and selfish mistakes, some he's learnt from, some obviously not. However maybe that will change? In life, you don't know what's going to happen tomorrow."
Referencing the night of Wayne's arrest for drink driving, Coleen appeared to blame the influence of alcohol for his behaviour.
She wrote: "One thing I do know is that too much alcohol on a night out is a dangerous and a lot of stupid mistakes are made and things are said under the influence.
"I would never trust ANYONE who has had a lot of alcohol, it changes some people drastically."
Coleen also hit back at fan speculation she was staying with Wayne for his money, insisting that love and family is what is keeping them together.
She penned: "It's my decision .... do I love Wayne ... yes I do. If I didn't then I wouldn't be trying to make it work. I know I would be fine on my own, with just me and my children, but I don't want to live like that, I want to try and continue our marriage and live as a family, because that's what I want to do.
"I'm not saying everything is fine and forgotten about, but we are as good as can be at this point, I'm not the type of person to put a show on and say we're all loved-up….I'm just real."
Coleen's emotional Facebook post was met with an overwhelmingly positive response from her fans, who wished her luck and praised her for her 'brave' decision.
Her decision to speak out comes just after she was pictured leaving her local gym, with her wedding band noticeably absent from her ring finger.
Wayne and Coleen - who are expected to welcome their fourth child in early 2018 - have been together since they were both 16 and tied the knot in 2008.
They are already parents to three sons; Kai, eight, Klay, four, and Kit, 22 months.
The pair were recently said to have reconciled, with a new report claiming they are set to renew their vows next year.
According to The Sun, the couple are planning to reaffirm their love in their favourite holiday hot spot Barbados, as Coleen, who is pregnant with the couple's fourth child, knows 'deep down' she has forgiven him.
A source told the paper: "To say it's been a rough ride for both of them in recent months is an understatement. But we've been told they plan to renew their wedding vows next summer – maybe in Barbados.
"We were astonished as Coleen is no fool and a pretty tough cookie. He is just relieved to have another chance."
MailOnline has contacted the pair's representatives for comment.
Coleen and Wayne were also spotted enjoying a dinner date last week, amid swirling rumours they are working on their marriage woes.
The couple were seen in public for the first time since Wayne, 32, was charged with drink driving last month.
A fellow diner at Nandos snapped a picture of the pair - obtained by The Sun - and tweeted: "In Didsbury, even Wayne Rooney has to wait for his @NandosUK".
A source told The Sun: "Every marriage has their ups and downs – and the Rooneys have certainly had more than their fair share.
"Whether it's a food craving from pregnant Coleen or just a treat for their kids, a cheeky Nando's could be a sign that things are moving in the right direction for Wayne.
"Although he shouldn't count his chickens just yet as Coleen is still reluctant to put her rings back on."
While Wayne continues to remain allusive over his relationship with pregnant wife Coleen, he has been sharing frequent snaps with his beloved children.
The footballer's latest show came after he hinted he had made amends with his wife when he shared a snap of Kai, eight, at the family home last week.
Last week, Coleen sparked further speculation she has forgiven her embattled husband for his night out with party girl Laura, sharing a family collage on Twitter to celebrate Kai's birthday, in which Wayne featured prominently.
Now Wayne has been posting yet more images, this time a snap on Instagram with Kai - which seemed to hint that all was well in the Rooney camp.
He did not add a caption on the shot but merely shared the image with his 11.6 million followers hot on the heels of reports of his woes. In Coleen's emotional tribute posted to Instagram last week, she appeared to prove her family's united front.
The first photo in the montage appeared to hint at warmer relations between the pair as it showed Coleen and Wayne posing up together with their eldest child, with the trio all cracking warm smiles.
The WAG affectionately captioned the snap: "Happy 8th Birthday to Our Kai!!! So proud of you and love you so much xx".
The disgraced athlete spent his own birthday alone last month as he served community service for drink-driving in the UK, while Coleen enjoyed a sun-drenched getaway to Barbados.
However after Kai returned from his adrenaline packed getaway from Barbados, he proceeded to celebrate the occasion with his famous father.
Marking his special day, Wayne set up big balloons spelling out Kai's name, while a number of Bugatti balloons framed them from both sides.
"Happy 8th Birthday Kai. Enjoy your special day son," Wayne captioned the snap lovingly.
The sweet snap which appears to be from their family home had seemed to be Coleen's biggest hint yet that she has forgiven her disgraced husband for his night out with Laura.
Coleen's united display with her children comes as she enjoys a tropical break in Barbados, spending the half term soaking up the sun with the couple's three children.
Meanwhile, embattled Wayne was pictured doing community service back in the UK, following his drink driving scandal.
The law requires him to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work and that meant a breakfast time wake-up call and a chauffeured trip in a £60,000 Audi to the community centre for another session of routine maintenance tasks which began at 9.39am.
Rooney, who earns around £150,000 a week, was wearing a claret coloured track suit and new £70 white trainers as he walked in with his head down.
The brunette, who has been married to Wayne for 10 years, is currently expecting her fourth child with the sports star.
Coleen previously hit back after pictures emerged of her with a Louis Vuitton that seemed to be embossed with the initial of her maiden name, 'M' for McLoughlin, instead of 'R' for husband Wayne's surname - suggesting she was no longer going by her married name.
But Coleen took to Twitter to post: "Stories, stories, stories. My mums initials are CM... not my bag!!"
The couple's marriage has been on the rocks since Wayne was caught drink driving in Cheshire, with fellow party-goer Laura in the passenger seat as he drove her Beetle back from a club after she claimed they "kissed and cuddled".
In Sep, the legendary footballer pleaded guilty to driving while over the limit before embarking on 100 hours unpaid work.
He has been defiantly keeping his wedding ring in place despite Coleen's frequent appearances without her own band.
At the time of his arrest, it was reported she flew back from Spain with their three children and reportedly screamed at him: "The world is laughing at me because of you. How could you do this to me while I'm pregnant? How could you be so stupid?"
The mother of three has already been on various holidays this year, including Barbados, Ibiza, Portugal, Greece and Spain and it was previously claimed Wayne has accused her of spending too much time away from the family home.
In September it was alleged that Wayne gave Coleen an ultimatum, telling her he would give up booze if she decided to cut back on her trips abroad - an attempt from his part to save his marriage after he was charged with drink driving while in the car with another woman.
Meanwhile, Laura, from Irlam, Greater Manchester, said that she would have had sex with the footballer if they had not been stopped by police.
The lettings agent worker, 29, said the pair had "kissed and cuddled" and she would have "s******" him if he had not been pulled over by the police.
Laura, a single mother of one, also told MailOnline that she would have slept with Rooney if he had not been arrested behind the wheel of her VW Beetle car in the early hours of the morning.
