But in Antwerp this week, a friendly fixture between Belgium and the Netherlands turned nasty when a shoving match turned into a hopping-mad brawl.
Able-bodied spectators and crutch-hugging amputees joined the fracas, with flying kicks, punches and a heap of anger emanating from the players and fans.
