Doubtful - but the team of Auckland under 15-year-olds who play together for fun have made it to the final of the Girls Futsal World Cup in Orlando, USA.

This stunning goal by keeper Ella O'Connell-Biddlecombe was the pick of the bunch on the way to a showdown with the US top team.

The tournament is in its second year as the sport's popularity grows rapidly around the world.

The Auckland girls entered an Australian tournament and were stunned to win - and even more so to discover that victory qualified them for the world champs in the US.

They and their families fundraised to pay for the trip. The final is overnight NZ time.
