When Hamburger SV midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu lined up a free kick from just inside his own half at the end of a Bundesliga game last weekend, the opposition didn't even bother to put up a wall.
From 41-metres away, with the keeper well positioned and waiting, Calhanoglu was probably the only person in the world who believed he could score.
But he did, and this mesmerizing strike somehow found the back of the net after an eventful flight path took it past Borussia Dortmund keeper Roman Weidenfeller.
Calhanoglu's brilliance was the icing on the cake for Hamburger as they won the match 3-0.
It also means that Calhanoglu will be taking pop shots at goal from anywhere inside his own half for the rest of the season.
