MILAN (AP) Italy coach Cesare Prandelli has included Marco Parolo and Domenico Criscito in the squad to face Germany and Nigeria in the upcoming friendly internationals.
Prandelli named his 28-man list on Sunday evening. Italy, which has already qualified for the World Cup, plays Germany on Friday in Milan before taking on Nigeria in London three days later.
Parma midfielder Parolo has had an excellent start to the season, with five goals, and could make his Italy debut at the age of 28. He was called up in March 2011 for the matches against Ukraine and Slovenia but did not play.
Criscito has not featured in an Italy squad since last year's World Cup qualifiers against Armenia and Denmark.
