ATHENS, Greece (AP) Brazilian midfielder Romeu scored the winner with a header in the 75th minute to lead Panthrakikos to a 2-1 away victory over former powerhouse Panathinaikos in the Greek league Sunday.
Zequinha had opened the scoring with a header in the 18th minute, while Luciano Figueroa equalized with a low drive in the 67th for Panathinaikos.
Panthrakikos is in sixth place, nine points behind league leader Olympiakos, which won 4-1 at Platanias Saturday, and two ahead of seventh-place Panathinakos.
Also Sunday, Xanthi won 5-1 at newcomer Kalloni, Aris beat host Veria 1-0 but had three players dismissed in injury time and Apollon vs. Panetolikos and OFI vs. Ergotelis ended 1-1.
