ATHENS, Greece (AP) Late goals by Luciano Figueroa and Giorgos Koutroubis led Panathinaikos to a 2-0 victory over Ergotelis, its first away win this season in the Greek league on Saturday.
Figueroa opened the scoring in the 83rd minute with a close-range shot off Marcus Berg's cross and Koutroubis scored his first of the season with a header off Mehdi Abeid's cross four minutes into injury time.
The win allowed Panathinaikos to catch Ergotelis in fourth place, eight points behind leader Olympiakos, which hosts OFI on Sunday. Second-place PAOK, three points adrift, visits Panthrakikos.
Also, Atromitos won 2-0 at Xanthi to move into sole possession of third place, and Asteras beat Levadiakos by the same score.
