MOTHERWELL, Scotland (AP) Motherwell moved into third place in the Scottish Premiership by beating managerless Hibernian 1-0 on Sunday.
Stephen McManus' 23rd-minute header proved to be enough for the home side at Easter Road, leaving Motherwell level on points with second-place Inverness and five behind leader Celtic.
It was Hibs' first match since the resignation of Pat Fenlon on Friday.
