New Zealand's Peter O'Leary will referee his first World Cup match after being assigned the Group F game between Nigeria and Bosnia-Herzegovina in Cuiaba on Sunday.
It is a crucial match for both teams who will need a victory to boost their chances of advancing in the tournament.
The 42-year-old worked as a fourth official at the 2010 FIFA World Cup and he holds a number of appearance records in FIFA competitions. He was the fourth official for the Group E match between France and Switzerland.
O'Leary will be joined by fellow New Zealanders Jan Hendrik Hintz and Mark Rule as assistant referees.
O'Leary has accumulated the most participations (five between 2007 and 2012) and refereed the most matches (five) in the FIFA Club World Cup.
