It's Super Sunday where eight teams will be trimmed to four. So who goes through to the semi-finals of the under-20 World Cup?
Brazil v Portugal, Hamilton, 1pm
A mouth-watering clash awaits between these two footballing super-powers.
Despite being the top attacking team at the tournament with over 100 shots on goal, Brazil couldn't find the net in 120 minutes against Uruguay and needed to negotiate a tense penalty shoot-out to progress.
Portugal were given a scare by New Zealand before eventually progressing courtesy of a superb 87th minute winner.
It's difficult to separate these sides, both of who have won all four of their matches at the tournament. Brazil might just have the slight edge on their wider variety of attacking threats.
Key man: Gelson Martins (Portugal): The livewire attacker produced a spectacular winning goal against New Zealand and was constantly involved in his side's best moves.
Tip: Brazil 2-1 (after extra-time)
Mali v Germany, Christchurch, 1pm
Africa meets Europe in another potentially brilliant match.
Mali put on the performance of their lives in beating Ghana in the round of 16 in Wellington, scoring three exceptional goals and matching their more highly-rated neighbours in all facets of the game.
Germany eased past Nigeria in their round-of-16 game, converting 61% possession into a clinical - albeit narrow - 1-0 win. They have now scored 17 goals at the tournament while conceding just two and remain the favourites to lift the trophy next weekend.
Mali will have no fear though and certainly won't be the easy-beats that all of Germany's group stage opponents proved to be.
Key man: Dieudonne Gbakle (Mali): The elegant front man scored one of the goals of the tournament against Ghana and will cause problems for the solid German rearguard.
Tip: Germany 1-0
USA v Serbia, Albany, 4.30pm
These two sides could easily have been back home already after their round of 16 matches, but did enough to scrape through against Colombia and Hungary respectively.
The USA needed a late penalty save to beat Colombia in a game during which they had just 40% of possession. Rubio Rubin's goal an hour into the game was eventually enough to send them through.
Serbia were seconds from elimination before an injury-time equaliser against Hungary and they were then the benefactors of a 118th minute own-goal to progress to the quarter-finals.
Both sides have shown flashes of exceptional football during the tournament, as well as periods where they've been dominated by their opposition. One moment of magic could decide this one.
Key man: Zach Steffen (USA): The American goalkeeper saved a penalty against Colombia and has been a solid presence between the sticks throughout the tournament.
Tip: Serbia 1-0
Uzbekistan v Senegal, Wellington, 4.30pm
Very few pundits would have picked these two in their pre-tournament last eight. Uzbekistan lost their first two matches and Senegal's only group victory came against one of the poorer sides at the tournament, Qatar. Here they are though, squaring off for a place in the final four.
Uzbekistan broke down a stubborn Austrian defence to win their round of 16 match 2-0, while Senegalese goalkeeper Ibrahima Sy was the hero for his side, saving three penalties in the shoot-out win over Ukraine.
This could be a physical battle with these two teams topping the yellow card charts for the tournament. Senegalese players have been booked nine times and the Uzbekistanis have eight.
Key man: Dostonbek Khamdamov (Uzbekistan): The front-man has three goals in the tournament, including a match-winning brace against Austria.
Tip: 1-1, Senegal to advance on penalties.
Based on these tips, Wednesday's semi-finals would be as follows:
Brazil v Senegal, Christchurch
Serbia v Germany, Albany
