HAMBURG, Germany (AP) Hamburger SV says midfielder and captain Rafael van der Vaart will be sidelined for several weeks after damaging ligaments in his right ankle.
Van der Vaart was injured while playing for the Netherlands in the 0-0 draw with Colombia on Tuesday.
The Bundesliga club says the extent of the injury was determined by a scan on Wednesday.
