ATHENS, Greece (AP) Javier Saviola assisted on Olympiakos' first goal and scored the second in a 2-0 victory at Panionios in the Greek league on Saturday.
Wladimir Weiss opened the scoring with a shot from the edge of the area in the 61st minute and Saviola scored from close range in the 75th off Michael Olaitan's cross.
The win kept the defending champion in first place, four points ahead of PAOK, which visits OFI Crete on Sunday, and six ahead of Ergotelis, a 1-0 winner at Veria on Saturday.
