BRATISLAVA, Slovakia (AP) Gibraltar will make its debut as a fully recognized senior international team against Slovakia next month.
The Slovakia Football Association says on its website it will play Gibraltar in a friendly on Nov. 19 in Faro, Portugal.
Gibraltar's own stadium is being renovated to the standards of UEFA, which it joined as the 54th full member in May.
UEFA finally accepted Gibraltar as a member after long-standing opposition led by Spain, which disputes sovereignty with Britain.
Gibraltar's national youth and futsal teams have already played in UEFA competitions.
