Ukraine, who need to beat Tunisia to be certain of reaching the last 16, cannot afford any complacency against their group H soccer opponents.
Tunisia gave group leaders Spain a fright in Stuttgart on Wednesday, taking an early lead before Luis Aragones' side fought back to win 3-1.
A draw is likely to be enough for Ukraine, barring a freak result between Spain and Saudi Arabia, but captain Andriy Shevchenko said his team would be going for victory.
"I don't think any player who goes on the pitch ever plays for a draw because he knows how that can end up," the 2004 European player of the year said. "We've got a very tough game ahead."
A win for Ukraine would set up a second-round match against France, South Korea or Switzerland.
Tunisia, however, could also qualify for the last 16 with a victory.
After an embarrassing 4-0 loss to Spain in the opening match, Ukraine bounced back with an identical scoreline in their favour against Saudi Arabia.

Spain's second-string players will aim to press their case for a place in the team for the knockout stages when they play Saudi Arabia, in the same Group.
With a place in the last 16 assured and top spot in group H effectively in their pocket, coach Luis Aragones will rest several first-choice players.
It was the substitutes who came to Spain's rescue against Tunisia on Wednesday, Raul scoring the equaliser and Cesc Fabregas and Joaquin helping tease open the defence.
Their performances showed how little there is to choose between the players and a strong performance could be rewarded with a place in the starting lineup.
"Everyone wants to play," Joaquin said.
"Even though we have already qualified it is still a World Cup match and I'm determined to make the most of the opportunity."
Leading striker Fernando Torres will be rested, while Raul and David Villa are likely to play 45 minutes each up front.
