Soccer: Referee for opener

Argentine Horacio Elizondo will referee the opening World Cup match between hosts Germany and Costa Rica in Munich on Saturday morning (NZT).

The 42-year-old PE teacher has been a Fifa referee since 1994 and took charge of his first international 10 years ago.
