Soccer: Praise for English fans

Fifa praised England fans for their behaviour at the finals after their hooliganism dominated previous campaigns.

"We all hear quite enough when the fans do not behave. Let's make plenty of noise now because their behaviour has been perfect," said Lennart Johansson, the chairman of Fifa's cup organising committee.

"They have shown real football fans know how to enjoy the game and take defeat when they lose."
