Diego Maradona's future as Argentina's soccer coach remains unclear after he missed a meeting this week with the country's soccer association president Julio Grondona, whose office said it would offer him an extension through the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
However, Maradona wastravelling to Venezuela at the invitation of President Hugo Chavez to host a series of soccer clinics.
