Soccer: Hat-trick heroes

Portuguese striker Pauleta's hat-trick in the 4-0 win over Poland was his country's first at the cup finals in 36 years.

He followed the legendary Eusebio, who bagged four in the 5-3 win over North Korea at the 1966 finals in England.

Eusebio was in the stand to watch the Girondins Bordeaux striker's achievement.
